Isaiah's College Football Predictions (Week 6)
Hey guys, this is Isaiah,
Welcome back to my series that I will continue doing for the rest of the college football season! I will predict the 3 biggest games in college football each week! We have some very intriguing matchups this week so lets get right to it!
Florida vs. Auburn
I promise you I hate them. I really do. I will be rooting for Florida this game, even though I don’t like them too. If Florida had their starting Quarterback, maybe the outlook of this game would be different. I don’t think that their Quarterback, Kyle Trask, is going to be able to deliver. He didn’t even start at QB in high school. But since this is my College Football Predictions not who I am rooting for, I have to pick who I think will win: and that is Auburn but only to win by 14.
Cal vs. Oregon
This game is being very overlooked. Cal was ranked 15 last week until they were upset by Arizona State. I believe that this will be a tough battle from the beginning to end of the game. The differentiating factor in this game will be the quarterback play. While Chase Garbers is good, he runs at a similar rate as he completes passes and he is not efficient in the passing game. He has 54 rushing attempts and only 68 completions. He is only completing 59.1% of his passes and hasn’t reached 1000 yards yet. Justin Herbert, Oregon’s Quarterback was a pre-season Heisman candidate. His position in the rankings have dropped due to the play of Jalen Hurts, Tua Tagovailoa, and Justin Fields, but he is still very good. Herbert has 1,127 yards already while completing 74.4% of his passes. I’ll take Oregon by 10.
Ohio State vs. Michigan State
O-H-I-O! Ohio State balled out last week on the defensive end proving that they are one of the more underrated defensive units in the country. Jeff Okudah is the best cornerback in the nation. And as I keep saying, if the Heisman was handed out today, the award would go to Justin Fields. This makes me very confident in Ohio State who is the second best team in the country to win this game and win this game big. Justin Fields is proving why he was rated ahead of Trevor Lawrence coming out of high school, and doing it in a big way. Ohio State by 38 (45-7)
Last Week: 2-1
And that concludes my predictions in College Football this week! Make sure to tune in next week for my predictions. Until then see you later!
